EasyRound AI ("we", "us") provides live interview assistance through a desktop app and this website. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and what your choices are. Questions or requests: support@easyround-ai.com.
1. What we collect
Account.
- Your email address. You give it to us when you sign in with an emailed code, or we receive it from Google if you choose "Sign in with Google".
- Your balance of free and purchased time, your purchase records (payment reference, amount, hours credited), and a log of each session: when it started and ended, how many seconds were used, and how it was funded.
- A sign-in token stored on your own device so you stay signed in. On our side only a hashed copy is kept.
During a live session. To produce answers, the app sends the following from your device:
- Audio captured by the app (your microphone and the interview audio), for live transcription.
- The resulting transcript text.
- If you add a resume: the text is extracted from the file on your device (the file itself is never uploaded) and that text is sent to an AI provider, which condenses it into a short profile summary used to tailor answers.
- A screenshot, only when you press the "Read Screen" or similar button.
We do not save audio, transcripts, resume text or screenshots to our database or disk. They are held in the server's memory while your session runs, to give context to the answers, and are discarded afterwards. Producing an answer involves sending the transcript (and a screenshot, resume text or both, when you provide them) to third-party speech-to-text and AI model providers for processing.
Payments. Payments are handled by Razorpay. We receive a payment reference, amount and status. We never receive your card or UPI details.
Email. We send sign-in codes and service messages, and may send product emails to account holders. Every product email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
This website. We record page views and download clicks (the page path only). Each is tied to a daily-changing hashed identifier built from your IP address and browser, so we can count unique visitors within a day. We do not store your raw IP address, and we keep these records for 90 days. We use no advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Your browser stores a light or dark theme preference.
2. How we use it
- To run the service: sign you in, transcribe and answer during sessions, measure time used, and apply your free time and purchases.
- To take payments, provide receipts and handle support and refund requests.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, including blocking accounts that misuse it.
- To understand how many people visit the site and download the app.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Some of these providers are outside India, so your information may be processed in other countries. Each handles data under its own terms and privacy policy. The specific companies we use are available on request at support@easyround-ai.com.
4. Sign in with Google
If you use Google sign-in we request only your email address (the "openid" and "email" scopes). We use it solely to identify your account, the same way we use an email you type in. We do not access your Google contacts, mail, files or any other Google data. EasyRound AI's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to theGoogle API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Other people in your interview
The app captures the audio of your interview, which includes other people's voices, and sends it for transcription. You are responsible for having any notice or consent required where you are and where they are.
6. Your responsibility for how you use this service
Some employers, schools or exam bodies set their own rules about what tools a candidate may use during an interview or assessment. EasyRound AI has no way of knowing what rules apply to your specific interview, and deciding whether to use this service there is your decision. We are not responsible for any outcome of an interview, exam or evaluation — including disqualification, withdrawal of an offer, or any other consequence — that results from your choice to use EasyRound AI in a setting where it was not permitted.
7. How long we keep it
- Account, balance, purchase and session-usage records: while your account exists, and afterwards for as long as we must keep payment and tax records.
- Session content (audio, transcript, resume text, screenshots): not stored by us beyond the live session.
- Website visit records: 90 days.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and its data (except records we are legally required to keep). You can unsubscribe from product emails at any time using the link in them. To make a request, email support@easyround-ai.com from the address on your account. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the data protection authority that applies to you.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, keep sign-in tokens in hashed form, give access tokens a short life, and limit who can access our systems. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
EasyRound AI is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date above, and for significant changes we will also notify account holders by email.
